Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. Our practice utilizes the latest technology, offering a variety of safe and gentle treatment options, to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.
Every smile starts with a New Patient Exam!
Your new patient exam will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your new patient exam, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Provide a complete oral exam to determine if treatment is necessary
- Discuss your treatment options
- Discuss your treatment cost, insurance coverage, and payment plans
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all of the information that you need to determine which treatment is right for you.
What happens after your new patient exam?
If treatment is recommended at your new patient exam, we will schedule you for an additional appointment to obtain full records, including x-rays, digital photos, and iTero scan. This is followed by a consultation with your doctor to review your records and finalize the treatment plan that best suits your needs.
Once in treatment, we will see you for appointments approximately every 4-6 weeks to adjust your braces or appliances. When treatment is complete, we will continue to follow up every 3-6 months to ensure your results are long lasting.
We understand that your family is busy. Our goal is to work with your schedule. We offer early morning appointment times, as well as appointments one Saturday a month, so you can get back to your day. We will confirm your appointment via email or text message for your convenience.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, even during your orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you are receiving the best care possible.
