Besides assisting and working with patients, much of the work I do is “behind the scenes.” When it comes to patient interaction, I prefer to be easy going. While I’m completely serious about good brushing habits, I know that no one wants to be lectured or embarrassed. I want my patients to feel comfortable, and I work with them if some extra help is needed.

I set up and contact families regarding their payment contracts, submit claims to insurance companies, and am the liaison between families and their insurance companies. I enjoy helping people make sense of their benefits and explain in “real terms” what it means to them.

I get a great sense of satisfaction being able to sit with a parent or responsible party and work out a financial plan that works for both of us. People need to understand that when a problem arises, we're going to help as much as we can.
