Front Desk Coordinator
I’ve found that the best way to interact with patients is to be myself! I try to be calm and organized, always kind, and keep a good sense of humor. I love meeting new people, and I get to do that every day at my job.

I love interacting with patients. It’s fun to hear what they do in school and in life. It’s great to have time to bond with them. After working here for 16 years, I know our doctors really care about their staff and their patients. We are like a family here, and we always have a lot of fun.

I enjoy the variety of tasks and the fast paced environment our offices provide. Our patients are great, too, and I love getting to see their new, straight smiles! Our team members are all friendly and fun. We all get along well so it makes for a great place to work.
Every day is an adventure. We like to work hard and play hard. It’s fast paced, but we still know how to have fun and work at the same time.
Besides assisting and working with patients, much of the work I do is “behind the scenes.” When it comes to patient interaction, I prefer to be easy going. While I’m completely serious about good brushing habits, I know that no one wants to be lectured or embarrassed. I want my patients to feel comfortable, and I work with them if some extra help is needed.
I make sure that patients understand how their orthodontic appliances will feel and what to expect when they have braces. I’ve worked in orthodontics for 21 years and enjoy helping people achieve beautiful smiles.
I am very attentive to each patient’s needs. I like to get to know each patient on an individual basis. When the braces are removed, I love to see their new smile when they look in the mirror! .
I’m a real people person, so I get along with everyone. Our office has a fast-paced environment that’s a lot of fun for all of us. Plus, our doctors rock!
I always have a smile on my face and talk to the patients to make them comfortable. Working here is great because I get to see beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. We have a great staff, a beautiful office, and we will make sure you have a beautiful smile!
I have a hands-on job that allows me to interact with people. I love working with all ages of people. I love that no day is ever the same. It’s a fast paced work environment and a fun place to work, too!
I believe that laughter is the best medicine. I like to get to know our patients, and be very understanding to each individual's needs. Some patients have a certain amount of anxiety. If I can help them realize that I care and they feel at ease, I’ve accomplished something.
I assist the doctors in the clinic with patients and maintain the inventory. I enjoy working with patients of all ages. With younger children, I try to keep them calm so they aren’t afraid of any procedures.
I interact well with all patients, but especially children. I’m great at explaining things so children know and understand what’s going on. I have a way to make them feel comfortable and at ease. My favorite part of working here would have to be meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing them smile when they get their braces off.
I attended the Dental Assistant program through WCTC, and I'm very proud and excited to have joined this Ortho Practice. I love to work with such wonderful patient, staff & doctors. My upmost goal is to provide the best patient care I am capable of providing.
I have worked for 30 years with Holzhauer & Hewett creating custom appliances and retainers to help every patient hold their beautiful smiles in place. Being at this job for a long time has brought second generation patients to our practice. I remember many of the parents and how we made their smiles great, too!
I set up and contact families regarding their payment contracts, submit claims to insurance companies, and am the liaison between families and their insurance companies. I enjoy helping people make sense of their benefits and explain in “real terms” what it means to them.
I get a great sense of satisfaction being able to sit with a parent or responsible party and work out a financial plan that works for both of us. People need to understand that when a problem arises, we're going to help as much as we can.
