Front Desk Coordinator - Hartland
I’ve found that the best way to interact with patients is to be myself! I try to be calm and organized, always kind, and keep a good sense of humor. I love meeting new people, and I get to do that every day at my job.
Front Desk Coordinator - Wauwatosa
When I'm not at work, you can find me cheering on my teenaged son Zach at his Little League games that my husband, Tim, helps coach. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, coffee and cleaning. When we are not at the baseball field, as a Family we enjoy hanging out at Hoyt Pool, Going to State Fair and Grilling out in the back yard. I love interacting with patients. It’s fun to hear what they do in school and in life. It’s great to have time to bond with them. After working here for 24 years, I know our doctors really care about their staff and their patients. We are like a family here, and we always have a lot of fun.

In my free time I enjoy baking, reading books, and being outdoors during the nicer weather in Wisconsin. I love to travel and hope to make it to Ireland or Australia some day. I am passionate about photography, coffee & love anything pineapple. When I took the chance to learn orthodontics, it didn't take long for me to love it. I started as an assistant and when I joined Holzhauer, Hewett & Barta, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the front end. This really appealed to me as I like meeting new people and greeting familiar faces.
Front Desk Coordinator - Wauwatosa
My husband, Terry, and I were excited to move to Wisconsin from Souix Falls, SD to be closer to my young grandchildren. This was an easy choice to make! I love spending time with them, as well as with my two sons and daughter-in-law. Pewaukee is a great fit for us, the lake activities and restaurants bring endless enjoyment. We have been exploring the beauty Wisconsin offers on our Harley while becoming familiar with the area. I enjoy greeting each patient with a smile, making them feel welcome for their appointments. Giving courteous assistance during each visit, my hope is that their Orthodontic experience is pleasant from beginning to end.

In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing are just a few things that take up my summer. I also try to travel to a new state or country at least once a year with my family! Dance has been a huge part of my life. I've taken classes since I was 4 years old at the Schauer School of the Arts and The Milwaukee Ballet School and have just recently been in my very last performance. I like to interact with people. I also like that I'm learning so much about orthodontics, even while working at the front desk.
I spend the beautiful days riding my Harley and discovering new hidden places. I also like to go traveling outside the state. The best trip I went on was to Alaska where I camped in the wilderness. I fished, hiked, and kayaked at the most amazing places. It was truly an experience. When I get home, I'm greeted by two dogs and a cat with wagging tails. At Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta, I handle all of the patients financial information. I'll be happy to help you determine your insurance benefits, as well as setting up payment contracts. The goal is to make Orthodontics more affordable to you as well as make the entire financial experience go as smoothly as possible.
I recently moved from the Chicago area to Wisconsin and just completed a full house renovation. We have three adult children and a dog named Spencer. I love to cook, my friends call me "The Domestic Chef". Lake Country is a great area for hiking and kayaking, I get outdoors a lot here. At Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta, I work with insurance companies to check benefits and get that information translated for you.

I believe that laughter is the best medicine. I'm happiest when I'm with my family. Good times, good food, and lasting memories are made when we're together. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, we've been together for over 20 years and have a son together. We also have a dog, Maddie, and a Uromastyx Mali lizard named Handsome. I love interacting with our patients to get a better understanding of their needs. My goal is to help them feel comfortable and enjoy their visits.
Clinical Coordinator - West Bend
My husband and I love to spend time hiking on trails with our dogs, kayaking, and gardening. We love going the the local farmers market and trying new restaurants in the area. I have three amazing sons that I love very much and look forward to traveling many places with them in the future. My passion is to provide a quality experience for all of our patients. It is nice to become part of your life and help improve your smile. I really enjoy the professional and personal touch our office has to offer for you and your family.
Clinical Coordinator - Waukesha
I was born in Venezuela and came to the states with my mom when I was 9 years old. I love country music! One of my favorite things to do is try new restaurants. I like spending time with my friends and being outdoors (weather permitting). I also enjoy being out on the lake. I have a hands-on job that allows me to interact with people. I love working with all ages of people. I love that no day is ever the same. It’s a fast-paced work environment and a fun place to work too!
Clinical Coordinator - Wauwatosa
I am recently engaged to my wonderful fiancé Ted. When I'm not working or wedding planning, I enjoy all that Milwaukee has to offer! I love trying new restaurants....especially ones with patios or rooftops! I love all kinds of music, so concerts and live music are a must in my life! I enjoy running and try to do as many 5ks as I can throughout the year. Traveling is one of my most favorite things to do so I jump at any opportunity to go! I love a job that is hands-on and interactive, so orthodontics is a great fit for me. Being able to be a part of a patient’s smile transformation is a wonderful reward!
My husband, Kurt, and I will be celebrating our 29th anniversary doing what we love to do, camping, fishing, and kayaking on the Mississippi River. We have one daughter, Taylor, and granddaughter, Lily, who is the apple of our eyes. My other passion in life is cooking, (but not baking!). Every day is an adventure. Our work is fast paced, but we still know how to have fun and work at the same time.
I've been married to my husband, Brian, for over 20 years. We have three beautiful daughters, Kayla, Kristina, and Kendra who keep me busy watching them play basketball. We rescued an Australian Cattle Dog a year ago named Max who is a perfect fit for our family. We also have three cats, Bella, Kiya, and Jake who keep us entertained as well. I love gardening, volleyball, country music, and spending time with family and friends. In May of 2017, I celebrated my 20th year as an assistant with Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta! I am very attentive to each patient’s needs and I like to get to know them on an individual basis. When the braces are removed, I love to see their new smile when they look in the mirror!
I'm married with two children and two fur babies. I love to read, cook, and spend time outdoors as much as possible. In my 15 years of experiance I've enjoyed getting to know our patients. It's amazing seeing the changes throughout their treatment and the joy it brings them when they leave with a confident smile.
I have three daughters ages 21, 26, and 28. I also have three grandsons and finally my first granddaughter. I like to do activities with the grandkids like baking cookies and pies, fishing, and flying kites. I've recently started golfing, which is so much fun. I also love fishing and really need to catch a muskie soon! I enjoy working with patients of all ages. With younger children, I try to keep them calm so they aren’t afraid of any procedures.
Cooking, baking, reading cookbooks, and being a Food Network junkie is my life. Baking cupcakes and decorating them with hours of shaping fondant decorations is my passion. You can usually find me in the cookbook section at Barns and Noble checking out what's new, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's buying the latest ingredient for a new recipe I'm making. Something new I started this year was whenever I'm in the Starbuck's drive-thru, I always pay for the car behind me. I think paying it forward speaks volumes to others. I interact well with all patients, but especially children. I have a way to make them feel comfortable and at ease. My favorite part of working here would have to be meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing them smile when they get their braces off. Peace, Love, and cupcakes!
I was born in South America and was adopted with 3 of my siblings when I was six by wonderful parents. I also have a younger adopted brother and sister, as well as two older brothers. I was married in 2016 to my husband who is originally from Brazil. We are expecting our first baby, a boy, in July and can’t wait to meet him!! A few things I enjoy doing are walking, spending time outdoors, knitting, watching TV and spending time with my family. I was a patient at Holzhauer, Hewett & Barta and have since been trained as an orthodontic assistant. I love working with patients, especially children. My main goal is to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their treatment.
I am a mother of 4 children, ages 11, 9, 6, and 3. Owen, Cloe, Brie, and Andrew. My children take up most of my free time. I enjoy spending time outside and love the warm Summer months. I like to travel, especially to Mexico and Las Vegas. Patient comfort is most important to me. I want to make sure our patients look forward to coming back to our office. It is so rewarding to see our patient’s smiles when their braces come off!
I am a UW-Madison graduate who was born and raised in Hartland, WI. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life, and my college club team won the NCVF National Championship in 2010! Growing up I listened to mostly country music and to date have seen over 80 different country performers in concert. I am 6'1" but like to tell people I'm 5'13". I love cats and have 2 calicos named Daisy and Nala. My hobbies include working out, napping, and traveling as much as possible! As a previous patient at Holzhauer, Hewett & Barta, I remember how comfortable the assistants used to make me feel, and I strive to carry on that level of patient care. I love the fast-paced environment and the need to be very detail-orientated so I can best adapt to each individual’s needs and personality.
My husband and I have two young children who bring such joy to our lives. We love going to the zoo, botanical garden, and to festivals together. I like turning everyday activites into imaginative adventures to make the mundane a little more fun. I take a similar approach to my work. I like the variety of work I get to do at Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta. Our patients are so interesting and diverse. I enjoy seeing them monthly and finding our common interests. My coworkers and the doctors are genuine people that I feel privileged to spend time with each day.
I have a son Caleb who is 14 and a daughter named Ava who is 9. They both play baseball, which takes up a lot of our time, but my Husband Mike and I wouldn't change it for the world. We are a very active family from traveling to taking bike rides and walks with our dog named Blu who is the best Black Labrador ever!!!! We see a lot of smiles here at HHB, but just like our personalities, no two are ever alike. I love the interaction with patients and seeing their smiles transform.
I live on a hobby farm where I have a dozen chickens, two ducks, and six peacocks and peahens. I enjoy fishing in our pond and kayaking with my sister. I'm a recent dental assistant school graduate. I like the variety of procedures orthodontics offers. The fast paced environment keeps my work interesting and there's still time to get to know what's going on in our patients lives.
I enjoy going to cafes' and restaurants in the Milwaukee area. One of the most interesting times in my life was when I was an exchange student. I spent a semester in Zagreb, Croatia. It's a magnificent city. Everyday is different at Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta, and everyday brings new challenges. I really enjoy working with children and hearing about their day. I've recently learned how to make retainers and do lab work. I'm excited for the future of the practice and learning new skills.
I get to watch a smile transform from beginning to end. This is why I love working in this field.
At HH&B, I create most of our lab work in house instead of sending it out to a dental lab. In the last 35 years, this has allowed me to exceed the quality of most dental labs, produce a product that is custom made to each doctor's specifications, and provide our patients with exceptionally quick turn around. Each patient has unique needs that feed my creative side. I take that creativity home each day and channel it into gardening. Taking something from the initial starting point, working hard on it, and seeing the beautiful end results has parallels in my work day and gardening hobby. Relaxing in my porch and enjoying wildlife that make up our "backyard TV" is a daily gift that I share with my husband. When the weather turns cold, I switch to indoor activities such as singing and working at my church and sewing for people in need.
I get a great sense of satisfaction being able to sit with a parent or responsible party and work out a financial plan that works for both of us. People need to understand that when a problem arises, we're going to help as much as we can.
